The 2008 Typically Canadian Tribute Tour
In the summer of 2008, as a TCG initiative, five young men will set off on a journey across
Canada, riding their bikes from Port Renfrew B.C. toSt. John’s Newfoundland, paying tribute to the lives of Canadians who have battled cancer. The ride for the Tribute Tour consists of 72 area stops across Canada. During each stop of the 8200 km route, the five tour members will highlight tribute stories of local Typical Canadians. The Tribute Stories will be focused on the lives of everyday people, who may not have national or even local prominence but whose overt courage and passion has made a difference in the lives of others.
With support from Canadian Fire Departments, Volunteer Community Directors and Typical Canadians, TCG hopes to inspire a nation. We ask for your support, your stories and your involvement with the TC Tribute Tour.
